Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night Time

This year for one of my birthday presents I went to see the Curious Incident of The Dog. I really enjoyed it because of the story line and all of the visuals. One thing that they could have had more of was dance, a lot of times there wasn't expressive movement were it would have been nice if there was. I did like all of the dance that was incorporated, because it was put in at moments that would seem pretty normally to most people but by including dance they weren't. One moment that especially stood out to me was when the main character was taking the train, and he was very overwhelmed. The way they showed that was having people carrying him and moving him all around to show how overwhelmed he was. I really enjoyed all the dance in this show because even though there wasn't a lot it made a lot of sense and provided useful and insightful information to how the character was feeling.

Winter Arts Festival

This year my whole grade preform at the Winter Arts Festival. We are all preforming a dance we learned in our muscle unit that was one of my favorite dances. I really enjoyed it because it had very smooth movements which I like.  The song, I See Fire By Ed Sheeran was a great song. I was kind of nervous for the performance because we didn't have much time to rehearse and I get anxious pretty easily, but I was also excited because the dance was really fun and we had been working on it for a long time. The performance went pretty well but it was a little hard because there wasn’t a lot of room on stage with so many people. I still really liked to preform though because it was nice to do something different with so many people and if we had just done it with our class it would have been less fun.
